After four years, it is time for Portobello West to say a fond farewell to Niki Picco!
Niki began volunteering with the market while a design student at Kwantlen. When the market manager role became vacant, she was the obvious choice. She continued to attend school full time while managing the market, dealing with the board, and making improvements like the addition of live music. When she graduated last year with her fashion design degree, she was quickly snapped up by Lululemon. Now Niki is working there full time and simply can’t manage both us and them. So it is with a tear in our eye that we wish Niki the most wonderful future!
