Who doesn’t love a swag bag? All 90 vendors participating in the Portobello West Holiday Market were contributed to the swag bags so you know they are going to be amazing! And these bags aren’t filled with just paper. Not only are there discount coupons to many of your favourite vendors, but there is product, and a ton of it. From mirrors to scarves to earrings, it will be like getting to open your stocking weeks early.
Although, you might have to wake up early to be one of the first 50 shoppers through the doors at 11am. But when you get so many goodies for free, you’ll actually love your alarm clock. For that matter you might want to show up at 10am to guarantee you get the swag. Don’t be greedy, line up either Saturday or Sunday. I know it may be tempting to wake up early all weekend long, but the holidays are about spreading the love.

Portobello West’s Holiday Market happens on Saturday November 29 and Sunday November 30 from 11am-5pm at the Creekside Community Centre in the Athlete’s Village, admission $2. Listen to local musicians, bring a purse for Dress for Success, stop by our gift wrapping station supporting Enterprising Women Making Art, and our fabulous local vendors.
