I have to admit to having a gift wrapping station in my house. But for everyone dreading wrapping the t-shirt for their niece and box of chocolates for their son’s teacher, Portobello West’s Holiday Market features a Gift Wrapping Station.
We have partnered with Eddie’s Hang Up Display LTD. who have generously donated gift bags, tissue paper and more to wrap up all the amazing gifts purchased at Portobello West. This is one of the ways we take care of our shoppers but it’s also our way of giving back. All proceeds will be donated to Enterprising Women Making Art, a program of Atira Women’s Resource Society.
To get a small item wrapped is $3.00, a medium item is $5.00, and a large item is $7.00. Knowing that the money is going to a good cause you might as well bring the gifts you have stockpiled at home too.
Portobello West’s Holiday Market happens on Saturday November 29 and Sunday November 30 from 11am-5pm at the Creekside Community Centre in the Athlete’s Village, admission $2. Listen to local musicians, bring a purse for Dress for Success, and shop a silent auction supporting Atira. The first 30 shoppers each day will receive a free swag bag!
