Many of Vancouver’s top brands have sold at Portobello West. We3 is one of them. The house label for Main Street boutique Twigg&hottie, We3 is a line of fashion forward essentials that retails across the country. Three years ago the co-designers Glencora Twigg, Christine Hotton, and Jess Viara were just launching We3 and chose to sell at the fashion and art market.
“Portobello Market was essential in our early days of business because it gave us a direct link to a new set of customers and the ability to learn how to improve our product,” says Glencora.
With time and market research the collection has grown from a Eco fabric basics line to a quality collection of stylish women’s wear that appeals to a wide audience. We3 has celebrated their collections on the runway at Eco Fashion Week, sold the collection to stores in Germany, and developed a stockist list running into the double digits.
“Now that we are established we are still serving many of the customers we gained in those formative years” says Glencora. “They have become some of the best brand ambassadors we could have ever hoped for.”
